Newsletter – 15th October 2018

Hi Everyone,

This is a just a quick note to let you know I'm back from holidays, in the office and ready to start trading for the last quarter of 2018.

A number of people have sent me some feedback. I really appreciated the comments and I have taken it on-board. So I will be making some changes over the next week or so.

The first change I have already implemented is to the Quarterly Market Forecast.

  • Received some great feedback and will be making some changes soon.
  • The first change is to keep the Quarterly Market Forecast format the same but split it into 4 segments and update each segment more regularly.
  • Blog articles coming soon about trading and travelling

1) Market Forecasts

The first change I have already implemented is to the Quarterly Market Forecast. The feedback said the format was great but some of you would prefer it to be updated more regularly.

It takes a lot of time to prepare and record each Quarterly Market Forecast with all those symbols so what I have done is kept the format the same but split the forecast into 4 segments:
* Stock Indices
* Global Stocks
* Forex and
* Commodities.

I will aim to update a different segment each Friday (when I am in the office). I created a sample video just covering the ASX 200 index. The link is

Please let me know what you think and if you want a different symbol analysed in a future video then send me an email and I will see what can be done.

2) Trading and Travelling - Resort

The other thing people have mentioned is they would like to know more about trading and travelling. I just got back from a week and a half holiday and it was a great break. I didn't take my trading with me this time as I wasn't going to be away for too long. Also I wasn't sure how good the resort's wifi would be and I didn't want to be troubled trying to get a local sim card for a week or so.

Well I was surprised at just how good was the resort's premium wifi. There were very few dropouts and I kept a watch on things with the TradingView charts on my phone.

That got me thinking. If I was going to spend a lot longer at a resort then what would I need to bring with me to be able to trade. I could think of nothing better than going through the trades in the morning and then after breakfast heading out to go for a snorkel or do some other activities.

So I'll start putting together a blog article of what I used on this holiday as well what I would need to trade on an extended holiday.

3) Trading and Travelling - Caravanning

When I got back from Mauritius - I went straight up to Millmerran QLD to the Australian Camp Oven Festival. It's a great event that runs every 2 years. Mum and Dad were there and I went there for the festival as well to finish setting up Dad's laptop.

While I was out there I got asked a number of times about the process and equipment that can be used to trade and monitor investments while caravanning.

So in addition to the trading from a resort article - I'll start to put together a blog article about trading while caravanning.

Final Comments

Well that's pretty much everything for the moment. If you have any questions or feedback then please send me a message. Have a great week and I'll keep you updated with everything that's happening.

Thanks again,
